Woman Arrested for periodical Bag Thefts in QC and Manila promenades

 

Authorities have arrested a woman indicted of constantly stealing bags from promenades in Quezon City and Manila.

Law enforcement officers served four clearances of arrest against the 55- time-old suspect, attesting her involvement in multiple theft cases. She was first detained on December 18 at the Project 6 Police Station in Quezon City due to an outstanding theft leave. farther disquisition uncovered fresh clearances for her arrest in both Quezon City and Manila.

On January 4, the Manila Regional Trial Court issued another leave, followed by a fourth bone

in February.

According to Police Lieutenant Colonel Roldante Sarmiento, commander of Project 6 Police Station, the suspect is listed as the tenth most wanted person in their governance. Her primary targets are shopping promenades, where she allegedly steals brand-new bags.

Reports indicate that she operates alone and constantly changes her identity to shirk prisoner, using different names each time she's restrained.

This isn't her first run- heft with the law. She was preliminarily arrested for theft in 2016 and 2018 and faced a medicine- related charge in 2017. When questioned, she admitted to stealing bags from promenades, stating that it had come a habit.



The suspect expressed a desire to resolve all her pending cases. Meanwhile, authorities are preparing the necessary documents for the return of her leave. She remains in guardianship at the Quezon City Police District Station 15 as legal proceedings continue.
