A man in Lima, Peru, had no idea that his Valentine’s Day "surprise" would come in the form of handcuffs—delivered by a police officer dressed as a charming capybara.
According to a report from GMA Integrated Newsfeed, a video shows an officer in a capybara costume, accompanied by a woman, knocking on the suspect’s door while pretending to deliver a Valentine's Day gift.

The moment the suspect opened the door to accept the supposed present—completely unaware that the visitors were undercover cops—the costumed officer quickly tackled and apprehended him.
Authorities allege that the suspect was involved in drug use and distribution, though he denied the claims.
However, a search of his home led to the discovery of repackaged cocaine and marijuana, totaling around 1,700 packets.
The operation was executed by the Peruvian Police’s Green Squadron, a unit known for its unconventional tactics in anti-drug busts. Their undercover agents frequently wear disguises to catch criminals off guard.
