Man Attempts Bank Robbery with a Toy Gun Wrapped in Plastic

A bank in Gijang, Busan, South Korea, was thrown into chaos when a man staged a daring robbery using a "gun" wrapped in black plastic—only for it to be revealed as a toy water gun with a dinosaur design.

According to a report by GMA Integrated Newsfeed, the suspect entered the bank wearing a mask and jacket and carrying an attache case.

He quickly declared a holdup and pointed the supposed firearm at bank employees and customers. Unable to access the manager’s locked office, he demanded that the staff fill his bag with money.

Surprisingly, he only asked for 50,000 won, roughly equivalent to just over P2,000.

As he forced people to kneel, a courageous man seized the opportunity to tackle the suspect, bringing him to the ground. Other individuals stepped in to restrain him until the authorities arrived.

Upon closer inspection, the police discovered that the "weapon" was nothing more than a water gun designed to look like a dinosaur.
